The backyard covered in snow.  By the time it ended we had about 6 inches, at least three times what we got last year.

Our maple tree lying across the neighbor's backyard.  Luckily it missed their shed and back porch.  It wasn't even holding much snow; it simply toppled over about 10:15 in the morning.  When the boys went out and looked, they said there was only a small place in the center of the trunk that was actually rooted into the ground.

Where the road turns on Horn Lane.  To the left is the ravine with the neighborhood's biggest swale.

Red willow branches add color to an otherwise white scene.

Seasonal swale running through a yard down the street from us.

A house I especially like on a side street.  The red front door is certainly cheery in this weather.

Lingering oak leaves accent the trees.
