Blue larkspur blooms everywhere in the woods at this time of year.

There are tiny plants, and then there are big ones.  These are particularly hefty.
Some stand six feet tall.

Tiny, fragile bluebells bloom in a spot of sunshine.

As the trail nears the river, you can see that the trees are well-watered,
because the canopy is very high overhead.

The trail comes to the Middle Fork of the Willamette River.
