write, take pictures, tinker with graphics...
and I keep a
continual line open to the Web community, finding--and connecting
with--friends worldwide. Often I've gone out searching for
pictures--say, of a place I might want to set a story, or merely for
information--only to find text, text... and none of the pictures that
fill in the details and transmit the mood. It's made me more
conscious of making the things I look for available to others, so I hope
you find some of the material here useful.

| I enjoy the opportunity to be a resource. In addition to photography/graphic arts and creative writing, I have extensive experience in homeschooling (three boys, dyslexic, who gobbled up classics at the elementary school level; also, learning through apprenticeships) and an academic background in Spanish, including a year spent living in Madrid.
